Welcome to That Wedding Videographer Podcast! We are Danny & Jase from Rizzo Films & Afterglow Wedding Films, two UK wedding videographers who have always enjoyed talking about business and ways to grow and thrive in the wedding industry.  We wanted to start a podcast for wedding videographers who want to learn how other wedding videographers operate so that we can all push each other forward.  Join us every Thursday as we cover a bunch of topics including Social Media, Branding, Lead Generation, finances and more.  We'll also be bringing on some awesome guests to help us all feel more confident running our wedding videography business.

Danny, what the hell are we doing here? Let's get to business, right? Haven't got all day. Tell me what we're doing here.

Danny (00:07):

We are starting a podcast aimed at the UK wedding filmmaking industry. Dusted off with a little bit of hilarity between the two of us, but yeah, we're super excited about it.

Jase (00:20):

Very excited, and I love the fact that you think we're hilarious. I mean, we think we're funny. We think we're funny.

Danny (00:26):

The Mars Kirsty doesn't think I'm funny at all.

Jase (00:29):

Gene's definitely not with me from a human.

Danny (00:33):

This, like we said, there is going to be aimed at the UK wedding filmmaking industry. However, there is definitely going to be some crossover between photographers doing hybrid shooting, content creators as well, obviously on the rise.

Jase (00:47):

And don't forget, look, if you're in the US and we're not going to be ignoring, you can listen to us if you want. Yeah,

Danny (00:52):

It'll be stuff in here. It's just that we wanted to make something that was really relatable to our market, which we feel that the ones that are at the minute are a bit,

Jase (01:01):

Yeah, let's be honest. We're super protective about our little market. Our little island is totally different to the rest of the world. This podcast is really mainly focusing on the UK market, the intricacies, the difficulties, the challenges that we all face in the UK market. We know the UK market does everything difficult, so operating in this industry is super difficult. This podcast is talking more about the business side of things. Danny and I really enjoy talking about how to get more leads, how to better our CRMs, our emails, all the unsexy stuff that no one else really likes talking about. We love,

Yeah, and it's the stuff that everybody needs to do and needs to do well to run a successful wedding film business, or any business in general. So yeah, we're really excited about the journey and Oh
